Idriz Limaj, RN, MBA, LNHA

Idriz is a hospital executive, entrepreneur and MBA with 20+ years of experience across the full continuum of healthcare.  He has a proven record of improving quality of care, patient experience, staff satisfaction and healthcare outcomes across a variety of organizations.  Idriz is frequently tapped for leadership roles in organizations facing mission-critical challenges, successfully developing multi-faceted strategic plans and building teams to reach goals.  His experience running hospitals in Maryland, the only state with an all-payer model and global budget, has made him uniquely qualified to plan for the future of healthcare in the United States.

At the Mass General Brigham (MGB) system in Boston, Idriz is responsible for executing the corporate strategic vision across all areas of Brigham Health’s Care Continuum Management program.  Outside of MGB, Idriz has spent the last two decades working as a clinician and leader in all manner of post-acute services including hospice, home health (certified and private), adult day care centers and skilled nursing facilities (including green houses, LTACHs and IRFs).  He has also led behavioral health services from geriatric psych and adult inpatient units to PHP programs and other behavioral health outpatient services.

Idriz leverages his intimate knowledge of the care continuum together with his extensive network of healthcare professionals to help health systems manage their most daunting challenges.  Idriz helps hospitals manage patient throughput and reduce length-of-stay by establishing and leading preferred post-acute provider networks.  He also works with Medicare and Medicaid ACO on hospital avoidance strategies and on care management for highly complex patients.  The Integrated Care Management Program (iCMP) started by Idriz at MGB has become the standard for many other hospitals.

In 2015, Idriz and his co-founders launched connectRN, the just-in-time, hand-held technology solving for today’s and tomorrow’s healthcare staffing needs.  Idriz helped raise over +20 million in venture capital investment and connectRN has since grown to +50 staff, supporting a roster of +10,000 nurses. Idriz also advises a number of early stage healthcare companies and serves on the board of SONSEIL, the nation’s leading healthcare entrepreneur association.
